Stuff
happens..
25.8.11 - You might be forgiven for thinking
that nothing has been happening in my personal life of late
given this column has been quiet for weeks now, (or is that
just me?), but as the header suggests, Life keeps rolling along
whether its being recorded or not. The first I heard about the
heroic Choclatté goings on (pic 1) was when
I discovered that Adam (Stevens) had been involved in fingering
a couple of thieves trying to knock off a laptop from the local
JB store. I commended him on his courage, paricularly as he's
still recovering from a serious shoulder operation and he showed
me the copy of The
Leader with his and Steve Jane's exploits from a few days
earlier. I guess the message is you don't mess with the staff
at Choclatté..
I took Chris to the Melbourne Zoo on Sunday at Adam's suggestion.
I was surprised at how little it had changed, although I noticed
the hippos had disappeared since I was last there. Naturally
I copped a parking ticket. |
On Friday last and the following
Tuesday I was the guest of Martyn Sullivan, otherwise known
as Rackman, (saviour or evil genius?), and spent some quality
time moving racks and mannequins in and out of rooms at the
industry's bi-annual Bridal Fair held at the Medina in Flinders
St. I did get to meet a celebrity though.. (pic 3) |
