Have you seen this man? He's short..
Dwarf bites Mike in Camberwell begging scam
26.11.14 -
The atmosphere is already getting fairly hideous in Camberwell, particularly in the carparks, and we're not even in December yet. Maria had lucked on a park and we were just heading for Choclatte when she tugged at my sleeve and I was confronted by this vociferous dwarf, who claimed he'd lost his wallet and needed train fares for himself and his wife.
I'd just been spending at Music Junction and had but one twenty dollar note left, but I gave it to him anyway, at which he decently enough gave Maria back her offering. When we got into Choclatte we discovered he'd put the bite into Lauren as well, so we concluded it was a scam.
By now this errant dwarf has morphed into TV star, Warwick Davis, (pic) so if you happen to see him, give him a backhander from me...

I'm about to see the worst movie since Melancholia..
Turkish delight outstays its welcome..
24.11.14 -
M and I haven't been to a movie for a while and it was a toss-up whether to see the David and Margaret recommended Turkish palme d'or winner, Winter Sleep, or the D & M recommended Ms Rosenstein Shoots a Shitload of Shots on her Box Brownie.* We decided to go see the Turkish effort, but not before lunching at the usually reliable Builders Arms. The cook was having a bad day at the BA (pic) and the film turned out to an endurance test of the first water - it seemed like the longest film ever made. We should've been tipped of by the title I suppose, not to mention we didn't even get to the half-way point in the director's previous effort. *Vivian Maier

1) Syl and Maria discuss the wonders of Chrissy pork 2) Molly displays a casual affinity for motherhood

3) Who is this fair maiden loitering near the wedding cake? 'tis Robyn! 4) Maria displays the spoils
November swings into action after a non-existent October
17.11.14 - It's not that October wasn't packed full of activities, but between me and Telstra it didn't get recorded. The contretemps with Telstra continues and so there's not a lot to show so far this month either, but I did manage to smuggle some pics from yesterday's post-wedding carry-on at the Sullivans' place. Not everybody made it who had been to the wedding (Danielle and Mario's wedding that is) as some had left for home interstate and the couple themselves were pulling together last-minute details for their impending honeymoon in Hawaii as we were munching on chicken and salads (including a Maria special) and sipping on flutes o' bubbly.
