Paul
Trimble and Glyn Mason blink in the sun at the Hausers'
|
Hausers
host nostalgic post-Chrissy do
28.12.13 - Or should
that be 'Hausers host neuralgic Chrissy do'? Anyway,
it was a treat to catch up with Daniel's Paul Trimble,
(pic) whom I wouldn't have seen for at
least a couple of decades, along with Glyn Mason,
Sam See, Kerryn Tolhurst, Jon Blanchfield, Chris
Stockley and, of course, Richard Hauser himself.
Not forgetting the girls either, Paul's former partner
Teri and daughter Shari, Helen Jedwob, Lena Blomfield,
Chris James and Di Hauser and others.
The company was good and the food was exceptional,
which is a constant worry at this time of the year.
I'm sure we've all piled on extra kilos which are
just going to have to be whittled away again... |

Mary,
Maria, me and Dick celebrate the good times at Enoteca
Sileno |
Enoteca
hosts Rudd summit
11.12.13 - It was only a matter
of time before Maria and I returned to the benificent
bosom of North Carlton's Enoteca Sileno, so impressed
were we on the first occasion. (see the last
ASR) This time we met up with Dick and Mary
(Mary put us on to it in the first place, having
been a fan from the early '60s) for a Chrissy get-together
before Maria heads back to the ACT.
It was just as good this time round too and we left
the restaurant laden with more Italian goodies to
try when we got home. |
